A hidden gem of a pub nestled in the De Parys Avenue and labelled the Victorian ‘urban vista’ D’Pary’s is an award winning, bustling pub with beautifully designed interiors, featuring a range of Peppermill furniture. The pub is ran by Wells & Co, a family owned brewery business who have 200 pubs across Europe to choose from. So, what makes the D’Pary’s so special?
Home from Home
D’Pary’s have undoubtedly succeeded in replicating a cosy ski lodge interior, you would find it easy to forget you were still in Bedford. From attention-grabbing open stone fireplaces, stacked wooden logs, exposed brick walls, upholstered bench seating and traditional panelling, these stunning features offset our vintage style Peppermill furniture perfectly. A roast dinner here, surrounded by such a stunning interior, really would be a wonderful treat!
Traditional with a Contemporary Twist
Peppermill Interiors furniture has played a main part in creating this traditional, yet on-trend look. Firstly, our Copper Pipework Base Stools, these UK-made copper bar stools are a great and stylish addition to our range of restaurant and bar furniture. The mix of wood and copper material add warmth and ambience to the pub. These stools feature a shaped solid oak seat and a copper pipework base. They are handmade to order and are available in two heights – 76cm (30”), which is ideal for poseur tables or bars, or a lower 66cm (26”), which is perfect for breakfast bars. Alongside these stools are Peppermill’s leather industrial style Pipework Steamer Bar Stools. Featuring a steam pipe base, this leather upholstered stool is finished with machine-bent steel and brass style studs – a great statement item for any pub or bar. The stools are also fitted with plastic and metal gliders to the feet, helping to protect your floor from heavy customer footfall.
D'Pary’s have also carefully chosen our Newbury Leather Carver and Newbury Leather Side Chairs for their dining room seating, in colour Tan. We have a large vintage inspired seating range, and the Newbury range is one of our most popular. The Newbury Chair compliments the traditional meets contemporary décor with its unusual square frame and aged, distressed tan leather upholstery, all of which is extremely comfortable for guests to sit on.
Vintage Style Seating
To continue with this décor style, D’Pary’s have selected some of our beautiful vintage style armchairs. The Lansdowne Vintage Style Tan Leather Armchair, for example. The Lansdowne is classically designed and upholstered in distressed leather, resulting in the sought-after look of a much older piece of furniture. Brass studwork embellishes the chair on the front, back and sides, giving it an elegant finish. It also sits on two castors at the front, which further enhance the chair’s antique appearance.
The Stapleford, a high back wing colonial armchair, is another seating option D’Pary’s have purchased from us, in addition to our beautifully crafted pressed button upholstered Hereford Leather Chesterfield Armchair, to boast a stylish, traditional interior with a contemporary, unique twist.
