This quirky, industrial style gastro pub based in Fredrikstad, Norway, serves fantastic authentic food and craft beers in what has to be one of the most original settings in Norway. Many of the fabulous furniture pieces featured in this gastropub are sourced from Peppermill Interiors.
With an all-round industrial style, plenty of colour clashes
and wooden furniture, the Heim Gastropub in Fredrikstad is packed full of charming
vintage items like the large, open mouthed fish hanging from the ceiling, the gentleman
suit pictures and the reclaimed window frame mirror are all one-off vintage
pieces supplied by Peppermill.

Steel Frame Cafe Chairs and Bar Stools
The Heim Gastropub has a mix of our steel frame chairs and bar stools. The Hammerwich chairs and bar stools feature a leather look seat and back with ribbed stitching to the upholstery and are available in seven colours, this gastropub has used vintage red and yellow, and mixed it up with the more sophisticated Arlington stacking chairs and bar stools in the classic hues of brown and olive greens.
Industrial Furniture
The industrial theme is strong throughout the gastropub, with the Handmade Toolmakers Sideboard, which is painted in a distressed green paint to give the piece a rustic appearance, and is used as a waiter station. Our Vintage Light Fitting Range add a pop of extra colour as the red, blue, orange and mint green colours are dotted throughout the bar.
Wooden Accents
Alongside the industrial style furniture are wooden tables and decorative pieces, including the Wooden Oars and Kayak Paddles which have been suspended from the ceiling above booth seating. This along with the large fish and beach photographs give the interior an industrial marine edge. There are also some Small Cafe Tables that are mixed and matched with a metal base and distressed finish. The pine top finish gives them a rustic look. In one small corner sit our vintage Shabby Chic Small Pub Tables in distressed green and cream, placed in a little coffee area.
