The rich, warming tones of the highly varnished mahogany and cabriole-style legs complete the ornate appearance of this Victorian washstand. As with all vintage items, there are slight signs of wear and tear, which increases its charm and authenticity.

The intricately carved frieze in the wooden back panel acts as a replacement to the unsalvageable original element. This repair has led to a tiny hole being exposed in the polished marble table top, but this can be repaired by experts if deemed necessary.
