"The unique furniture from Peppermill Interiors has provided our restaurant and bar with a distinct and sophisticated style. Their remarkable products are high quality and perfectly contribute to our welcoming atmosphere while reflecting our signature flair." - Fig & Olive Restaurant, Middleton
The Fig & Olive restaurant offers pure escape from reality. Attached to a garden centre, you really could spend all day mooching around beautiful plants and gifts, whilst also enjoying a fabulous, locally-sourced lunch. This welcoming atmosphere is partly due to the careful selection of Peppermill Interiors’ bar and restaurant furniture.
Vintage Industrial Interior Style
Within one glance of the Fig & Olive you are hit by the calming ambience and industrial vintage interior style, ranging from exposed bricks, contemporary mirrors, steel lined panel ceiling and a selection of Peppermill distressed wooden furniture. Wooden furniture is such an easy way of creating an industrial vintage look, and if you’d like to recreate this look, here at Peppermill we have a vast range of such furniture in our bar and restaurant furniture department.
Statement Kitchen Island
A focal point in the middle of the restaurant is our spectacular Vintage Style Kitchen Island, which is a classic piece of industrial style furniture. Having a plethora of storage space and unique rustic-chic, this kitchen unit is certainly the centre of attention at the Fig & Olive. This storage would be ideal for storing place mats, menus, cutlery and glassware so items are easily accessible on the shop floor, yet hidden away from customers. The one-of-a-kind kitchen island is made of reclaimed oak and pine. With a large butcher block top, two large drawers with zinc lined bases, plenty of cupboards and large industrial style hanging rails, it makes the perfect piece for a commercial restaurant, as well as in a domestic kitchen.
Natural Tones for the Restaurant Seating
The colour palette of the Fig & Olive’s interior design is subtle, from rustic browns, matt black accents and light wooden Peppermill furniture. The Peppermill Bentwood Chair is prominent across the interior, and it is utilised as a dining chair at every table around the restaurant. This chair is a perfect fit for the surrounding natural tones with its curved top rail, oak frame and rattan seat. In the bar area, complementing the rustic dining chairs are the Jenson Distressed Leather Dining Chairs, also sourced from us at Peppermill. These contemporary leather ribbed stitched chairs add a twist to the otherwise traditional furniture. They are also available in concrete grey, teal, or tan leather, so will suit whatever colour palette you have decided on for your own business.
