It’s always a struggle finding accommodation for large groups of people, but with Grand Get-Togethers, you’re in luck. Not only are the four properties in their portfolio located in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, they have each been renovated to a high spec and exude luxury. The most recent renovation is Bogg Hall Barn, transformed from a derelict range of chalk and brick barns, into a real show-stopper!
Memories in the making
Offering self-catered accommodation for up to 22 guests, Bogg Hall Barn is the perfect country escape for large family get-togethers. This unique holiday rental includes many unusual features to really make a special and memorable stay.
The main hall is host to a home bar, games room, dining area and snug. Countryside murals have been skilfully painted, by Yorkshire based artist Sam Porter, to open up the space and bring nature into the property. A striking wine bottle chandelier hangs from the wooden beams, drawing your focus up to the vaulted ceiling. Chandeliers are an effective way of adding the “wow” factor to your residential or commercial space. Peppermill Interiors offer classic tiered lighting as well as vintage statement lights to assist in creating the desired effect for your space.
Unique style for a unique space
Exposed beams and brick work ensure that the heritage of this once agricultural barn is not lost. We love how our Vintage Window Frame Mirror, positioned alongside the brick-walled hallway, blends in with the cosy farmhouse theme. The distressed grid-format frame creates the illusion of a window, opening up the space and increasing light coming into this nook.
What better item of furniture to finish off this agricultural barn than Peppermill’s heavy and robust Industrial Cart Coffee Table, positioned in the lounge area. Stabilising wheels and a solid wood top make this historical piece ideal for use as an informal games table or to place your cafetiere on whilst it brews. Bogg Hall Barn has made a feature of this table by using it to hold trivia games and property information, helping guests settle into their temporary home.
Cooking up a sultry storm
The barn’s kitchen features a large modern island with four Hammerwich Stools, in alternating colours, positioned in stoic form off the cantilevered breakfast bar. The gloss splashback combines copper tones and cooling greys in an oily marbled swirl. Three hanging pendant lights cast a warming glow of an evening, creating a sultry ambience for those late night chats over a glass of wine (or two!). Pendant lights are our bread and butter; we offer a wide range of options to suit all varieties of interiors.
Socialise in style
Peppermill’s popular Hammerwich Stools have been used throughout this interior space: for the kitchen, our 66cm seats are ideal for the breakfast bar, but going through into the main hall sits four more stools, at a taller seat height of 76cm, for the cocktail bar.
The hardwearing and functional Hammerwich Dining Chairs make an appearance in the dining area, interchanging between our vintage grey and vintage brown colourways. We love how Peppermill’s furniture remains consistent throughout Bogg Hall Barn, tying this social space together!
Molly Sadler, the owner of Grand Get-Togethers has produced a cosy yet spacious holiday rental that’s the perfect destination for holiday-goers. With Peppermill Interiors’ items displayed throughout the reception rooms, guests have peace of mind that, much like the property itself, our furniture will stand the test of time.
