NEW SEASON - Find a style that feels like home

Spring has a way of making you see your home with fresh eyes. Suddenly the light shifts, the days stretch a little longer, and you find yourself craving something new. Perhaps a different energy in the dining room, a new and improved side table or a corner that finally feels complete with an armchair. At Peppermill Interiors, we've been busy curating just that. Our new spring collection has arrived, and every piece has been chosen with one thought in mind: finding a style that feels like home.

The Layla is a solid hardwood dining table with a warm walnut finish and a gentle oval shape that works well in most dining spaces. It's substantial enough to anchor a room without overwhelming it, and the Y-shaped legs add some visual interest while keeping the overall look clean and un-cluttered. What makes the Layla particularly practical is the extension system, a central panel with a smooth ball bearing mechanism that slides out easily when you need the extra space, and tucks neatly back inside the table structure when you don't. There's no awkward leaf to store somewhere, and because the walnut grain runs continuously across the whole surface, it looks just as good extended as it does at its original size. All of which make the Layla a reliable, good-looking table that handles both a quiet Tuesday dinner and a full table of guests equally well.

The Margot is a hardwood dining chair with a rounded frame and a curved backrest that flows into the legs in one continuous line, a small detail, but it's what gives the chair its quality feel and slightly sculptural look. The frame has a warm wood tone that sits naturally alongside the Layla Oval Extending Table, and the full leather upholstered seat adds comfort without making the chair feel bulky or oversized. It's well-proportioned, sturdy, and easy to live with. Whether you're furnishing a dedicated dining room or carving out a dining space within a larger open-plan area, the Margot brings a bit of warmth and character without pulling focus away from the rest of the room. The two pieces work particularly well together, but the chair holds its own alongside other tables too.

If you have a kitchen island or breakfast bar, the Margot Counter Stool is worth consideration. It's the counter-height version of the Margot dining chair, so it carries the same rounded hardwood frame and curved backrest, and slots in naturally if you're already running with a similar aesthetic in your kitchen or dining area. The warm walnut hardwood and leather upholstered seat make it comfortable for longer periods of sitting, and the black metal footrest adds a practical detail that also works well visually against the timber. It's a considered, hardwearing stool that looks at home in both a sleek modern kitchen and a warmer, more lived-in space. It’s the perfect perch for those easy spring moments, from a quick morning coffee to lingering chats as the light fades.

The Grace is a solid hardwood side table with a walnut finish and a base that does something a little different. It features two interlocking U-shapes that create an open, architectural form beneath the square tabletop. It's a genuinely interesting piece of design that gives it the feel of a decorative object as much as a functional one, which makes it easy to place in a room without it feeling like an afterthought. It works well beside a sofa, an armchair, or a bed, and holds its own whether the room around it is fairly minimal or already has a lot going on. If you're looking for a side table that earns its place on looks alone as much as practicality, the Grace is the perfect choice.

The Geneva is a swivel chair upholstered in faux sheepskin in a warm caramel tone, and it's the kind of piece that tends to become a favourite spot in the house fairly quickly. The curved, plush silhouette is designed for comfort first, and the swivel base means it works well in a living room where you want flexibility in how the space moves and feels. The texture is what really sets it apart, adding softness and warmth to a room instantly, and pairing naturally with neutral tones, natural materials, and the kind of relaxed interior that still looks put-together. Tuck it into a corner with a floor lamp and a side table, and it earns its place immediately.
