Franklin Social , USA

Franklin Social is a fantastic Tavern and Garden situated in New Jersey, America. Inspired by the colonial drinking culture, the bar and restaurant will provide guests with plenty of cocktails and a ‘classic’ menu, which they can enjoy while soaking up the atmosphere in a very smart setting.

You will feel as if you are stepping back in time with the exaggeration of wooden tones that echo throughout the Franklin Social interior. The space has been created by Skopos Hospitality to acknowledge the colonial America era with a polished mahogany wood bar, neoclassical wallpaper, wooden flooring and the addition of wainscoting on the bar and ceiling. Franklin Social’s interior is a dream example of period decor combined with modern functionality.

Colonial Inspired Seating
Filled with dim, warm lighting and hard shiny wooden surfaces, the colonial style of Franklin Social can be felt in every aspect of the interior design. The Reading Bar Stools are situated around the bar, and add a ton of vintage rustic charm to the space with their traditional design, visible grain and aged marks, which makes them the perfect fit for this particular bar area.
As well as the vintage style stools, Franklin Social also incorporates another traditional wooden style of seating in the form of Peppermill’s Solid Oak Chapel Chair Range. Varying in three different designs, the Buckinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Glamorgan all bring pastoral appeal to the vintage interior. The backs of the chapel chairs, which are traditionally designed to hold bibles, have been used as a way to store Franklin Social menus.

Unique menu holders
Franklin Social’s menus are folded as newspapers, with their logo on the front page which peeps over the top of the bible holders featured in our Chapel Chair range, producing a very fresh and original way to store your menus, as well as making your branding stand out from the crowd. Not only do the menus look great in the backs of the chairs, they are kept out of the way, lending more table space and eliminating the need for your staff to bring out and take away menus.
