Bistro On The Quay, Ipswich

"Simply the best...lots of choice, great customer service and fair prices too! We've purchased items for business and the quality is outstanding." - Bistro On The Quey

The independently owned  restaurant, Bistro On The Quay, sits on the beautiful Ipswich waterfront and is known to be the perfect spot for a warm welcome and tasty European cuisine. Bistro On The Quay has an interior that simulates the inside of a boat and has a mix of coastal and industrial elements that experiment with Mediterranean blues and gold accents. Here’s how Peppermill Interiors’ furniture helped  Bistro On the Quay achieve their interior desires!

Seaside Seating

Manufactured in the UK, our Mini Goodwood Industrial Style Dining Chairs are the epitome of edgy, industrial style. The metal frame has a black, powder-coated finish and the seat is made from high quality faux leather that has a slightly distressed finish. Bistro On The Quay used Peppermill interiors’ Vintage White and Vintage Red chairs which beautifully stand out against the turquoise panels and wooden frames.

Additionally, Bistro On The Quay used Peppermill Interiors Princeton Quilted Dining Chairs in the colours Hickory Brown and Ash Black which tick all the boxes for style and practicality. The Princeton Quilted Dining Chairs have beautifully quilted, luxury leather upholstery and an industrial gunmetal frame. As shown in Bistro On The Quay, the Princeton can be mixed and matched to create a unique, sleek dining set up.

Bespoke Coastal Dining

Bistro On The Quay utilised our bespoke products to create a distinctive look with the Butcher’s Block Dining Table paired with the A-Frame Industrial Base. An effortless statement is made with the contrasting pine that wraps around the oak centre and metal accents to the table corners. This table compliments the wooden accents already present within the restaurant and enhances the character of Bistro On The Quay adding to the industrial and coastal themes.

Bistro On The Quay also uses different types of metals to emphasise the boat-like, industrial themes. They have used the Zinc Edge Bar Table and the Copper Top Table which not only experiment with colour but texture. Both tables have subtle yet noticeable screw detailing that gives Bistro On The Quay a unique statement and makes room for the tables strong, sturdy character.
