Introducing our new handmade ‘Shiva’ tables made from reclaimed ships timbers. The wood used to create these tables is old, yet incredibly strong due to being submerged in salt water for an extended period of time. It has been treated especially to get rid of any unnatural colour, whilst still retaining its original appearance. The 2.5” top has also been protected with ‘silack’; a top coat commonly used on wood furniture, in order to avoid water marks and colour deviation.
Due to the creation process, each table may vary in appearance. The tables can be used both indoors and outdoors, and are easily cleaned with a damp cloth for the table top, and a dry cotton cloth for the steel legs.
The ships timber top is rustic, and holds a vast amount of character, complementing the contemporary and very stylish 2.5” stainless steel legs. These tables are very unusual and would blend beautifully with any period or contemporary interior, giving a warm ambience to any dining room or kitchen.
